# Pilot Program

## Current Status

The KinuxOTA system is currently in its pilot launch phase. During this initial release, we are focusing on providing robust support for a specific environment:

- **Operating System**: Ubuntu Linux
- **Architecture**: AMD64 (x86_64)

This focused approach allows us to ensure stability and reliability for our early adopters while we continue to expand our platform support.

## Future Platform Support

We are actively working on expanding KinuxOTA to support a wide range of Linux distributions and hardware architectures. Below is our roadmap for upcoming platform support:

## Joining the Pilot Program

If you're interested in participating in our pilot program:

1. Ensure you have a compatible system (Ubuntu on AMD64)
2. Follow the installation instructions in the [KinuxOTA Client](kinuxota_client.md) section
3. Provide feedback through our GitHub repository or support channels

## Beta Testing Other Platforms

While we're not officially supporting platforms beyond Ubuntu AMD64 in the pilot phase, we welcome beta testers for other distributions and architectures. If you're interested in helping us test on other platforms:

1. Contact our support team to register as a beta tester
2. Follow the special installation instructions we'll provide
3. Be prepared to provide detailed feedback and logs

Your participation helps us improve KinuxOTA for all users and accelerates our timeline for supporting additional platforms.
